Two counter-rotating pistons in a housing form the conveying chambers. During rotation, the chambers on the suction side enlarge, fill with the medium and transport it to the pressure side. There, the chambers shrink, displacing the medium. This principle ensures even and gentle conveying. By changing the direction of rotation, the conveying direction of the medium can easily be reversed.

A mobile pump for versatile use: sludge, flood water, waste water or wherever flexibility is required. A compact design, problem-free pumping in slurping mode and operation at different speeds for different flow rates characterize these mobile pumps.

Depending on the version, the pumps can run dry for short periods and are ideal for the suction of residual liquids.
Aqueous or highly viscous media are no problem. The speed of the pump is reduced for pumping highly viscous fluids. Thanks to the flexible speed, a pump can be used for pumping low-viscosity and high-viscosity media.
The delivery rate can be adapted to the respective pumping task via the pump speed. The high efficiency remains the same at any speed. The delivery range depends on the motor and pump size.
Pump housings are available in cast iron, cast steel, aluminum, stainless steel, duplex steel or Hastelloy.
Yes, we offer ready-to-connect, ATEX Directive (2014/34/EU) compliant, stationary, mobile or submerged pump units to meet your exact requirements and wishes.
On request, our rotary lobe pumps can be manufactured in accordance with Regulation EC 1935/2004, FDA §177.2600, UK WRAS or DIN 24256 / DIN 24255.
The rotary lobe pumps are available in a variety of different versions, including versions with hydraulic motor, bevel gear motor, semi-mounted gear motor or three-phase motor, as well as mobile versions with diesel engine. Pumps with feed screws are also available.
The pumps can be installed vertically, horizontally or suspended.
The oil in the quench chamber cools and lubricates the seals.
In the event of a seal failure, the intermediate chamber protects the gearbox against the ingress of the pumped liquid from the pump chamber. This ensures maximum operational reliability and service life.
The liquid in the quench chamber can be specified according to the conveying task, e.g. food-grade oil.
Depending on the application, different rotary lobe geometries can be used. A distinction is made between single-lobe, double-lobe and three-lobe displacers. There are also coiled pistons for the three-lobe displacers.
The most common materials for all-metal pistons are hardened steel, various stainless steels and Hastelloy. Plastic pistons are often made of NBR, FKM or EPDM; PUR and PFA are also available.
Mostly for food and chemical applications
Surface qualities of Ra 0.8 µm are possible.
Occasionally, finer surface qualities are also offered.
In addition to better controllability, larger solids can also be pumped.
The delivery direction can also be reversed for rotary lobe pumps.
